Clinton County has issued a burn ban issued effective immediately until further notice. Furthermore, persons are warned that the discharge of fireworks during this period of extreme fire danger poses a risk to life and property, and persons will be held civilly and potentially criminally liable for damages caused by the discharge or fireworks, or open burning during this period.
